Report a correction, or ask a question
Every figure on the site carries the date it was checked and the page it came from, so if something has moved on since or looks wrong, the quickest way to get it fixed is to say exactly what you found and where you found it.
Correcting a guide, a figure or a calculator
- The page address and the section, figure or result in question
- What you think is wrong, and why
- Where the current information can be checked, if you already have a source for it
When the distributor, service-firm, inspection-body and product listings open, this same route will take a correction to an entry.
Flagging a product listing
- The compressor, dryer or receiver in question
- The figure that looks wrong, whether free air delivery, displacement, pressure or noise, and the basis it was stated on
- A link to the manufacturer's own page showing the current figure
Questions about sizing, compliance or running costs
The calculators work through whatever figures you give them, so an odd result is usually worth tracing back to an entry further up the chain before writing in, and a calculator can still return the wrong answer if a figure fed into it is wrong. Where a question turns on how a specific regulation applies to your own system, that is a judgement for a competent person examining that system. The approach behind the site's figures and sources is set out on the About page.
Send what you have to aircompressors, with as much of the above as applies to your case.
